Zork on a Pen??

Really. Zork on a Pen.

The Pen is a Livescribe, a really neat little gadget that tracks your movement of a pen-like device, and which then makes it into words which it saves in memory.

You can watch the whole clip, or, if you prefer, jump right to the part when he starts playing Zork.

Come on! That’s amazing!

We live in the goddam future. Wow, a virtual machine (Z-machine) running on another virtual machine (JVM) running on a pen. This made my day.

You may be responsible for me buying one of these things! Not because of Zork, so much, but because I take hand written notes in meetings in a very uniform way (and can generally find what I need, but this would make it lots easier…). Wow.

I saw an item on this little device on local TV recently. Pretty amazing stuff indeed! I love technology.

    Will it play DOOM?

This is fabulous! Thank you for introducing me to that device and encouraging me to code for it. Guess I am officially retro now, since I liked the Zork aspect more than the pen itself. ;)
